We regret to inform you that QuickPhrase has been discontinued.

Despite this, we understand the importance of providing options for users who still wish to access the application. In certain Windows versions, you may encounter an issue where the large QuickPhrase TaskBar icon cannot be clicked. Below are two alternative options for accessing QuickPhrase for continued use or uninstallation.

Option 1: Accessing QuickPhrase through SysTray Icons

  1. Locate the Arrow Up icon to show hidden System Tray ICONs: Look for the tiny icons near the system clock on your taskbar. The Arrow Up icon is typically found among these icons.

  2. Click on the Arrow Up icon: Once you have identified the Arrow Up icon, click on it to expand the hidden icons.

  1. Find QuickPhrase icon: Among the expanded icons, look for the QuickPhrase icon. It is represented by the QuickPhrase logo.

  2. Access QuickPhrase: Click on the QuickPhrase icon to open the application and access its features.

Option 2: Using Hotkeys to Open QuickPhrase

  1. Check your configured hotkey: If you have configured a hotkey, such as CTRL+ALT+Q, to open QuickPhrase, ensure that you are using the correct combination of keys.

  2. Press the hotkey: Simultaneously press the configured hotkey (e.g., CTRL+ALT+Q) to trigger QuickPhrase to appear.

  3. Verify hotkey configuration: If the hotkey does not work, confirm that you have set up the hotkey correctly in the QuickPhrase settings. Click PROPERTIES to Edit hotkeys.

Instructions for Complete Removal:

To remove QuickPhrase from your system entirely, follow these steps:

  1. Close QuickPhrase from SysTray:

    • Locate the SYSTRAY icon near the system clock on your taskbar.
    • Right-click on the QuickPhrase SYSTRAY icon.
    • Choose "Close" from the context menu.
  2. Disable AutoStart at Windows Startup:

    • Uncheck the option "AutoStart QuickPhrase at Windows startup."
  3. Confirmation:

    • A confirmation prompt will appear. Click "Yes" to confirm the removal of QuickPhrase from the Windows startup.

Note for TaskBar Icon Visibility:

If you only wish to hide the large QuickPhrase icon from the TaskBar but keep QuickPhrase active, follow these additional steps:

  1. Toggle TaskBar Icon Visibility:

    • Right-click on the SYSTRAY icon once more.
    • Uncheck the option "Show QuickPhrase Icon on Windows Taskbar."
  2. Shutdown Confirmation:

    • A shutdown confirmation question will appear. Click "No" to keep QuickPhrase active while hiding the TaskBar icon.

Important Reminder:

  • Consideration for Continued Use: If you choose to remove QuickPhrase, be aware that the application will no longer be available at Windows startup. If you intend to use QuickPhrase occasionally, you may prefer keeping it installed but disabling the TaskBar icon for a more streamlined experience.

These steps should help you either completely remove QuickPhrase or hide its TaskBar icon based on your preferences.

Its always possible to uninstall QuickPhrase from your system, if you installed it together with TYPING MASTER 11, you would need to remove TYPING MASTER 11 application from ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS,  and then you can re-install TYPINGMASTER 11 back to your system from our website
