Instructions for TypingMaster Resellers

Requirements for resellers: 

  • Credit card or other payment method for international online purchases
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) ID for business customers
  • Email address for customer service
  • Phone number for customer service
  • Ability to create a website to showcase the product and your company
  • Reliability and honesty towards authorities (Government) and customers


Additionally, it would be good to have:

  • Ability to sell the product on the website
  • IT expertise in customer service (software installation and troubleshooting)
  • Social skills in customer service and sales situations
  • Ability to understand customer needs and find suitable solutions


1. General Information

As a reseller, you represent Cloud Kayak Labs Oy. Therefore, all interactions with customers should be friendly and professional manner. Always be honest and strive to resolve issues completely in one go. The customer should have a good experience with the interaction and the product and want to recommend it to their friends.

Customers may often have problems installing the product or activating the license. Resellers should familiarize themselves with the product to provide expert assistance. If any complex issues arise, the TypingMaster team is happy to assist you.

2. Information Required from the Customer

It is important to obtain sufficient information from customers right from the start for product ordering, payment, and delivery.

- Product to be ordered (TypingMaster 12 Standard or Premium or Ultimate Typing Coach)
- License length (1 year or lifetime)
- Number of licenses to be purchased
- First and last name
- Email address (exactly correct that license can be delivered to)

- Optional information:
- Address
- Country
- Phone number

 

3. Information and Instructions to be Given to the Customer

 

Before the Order (During Marketing & Sales) Tell Customer:
- Differences between product versions (STD, PRE, Ultimate Typing Coach)
- License duration options
- Any factors affecting price
- Final price

Ensure customers provide a valid and correctly typed email address to receive their license.


Never share reseller discounts, coupon codes, or reseller links with customers.

When the Customer is Ready to Purchase:

Send the customer instructions explaining how to place an order successfully. The instructions can be sent by email, text message, WhatsApp, or other means. The instructions should also include the reseller's bank account details and possible reference number, as well as contact information.

  1. The message asks the customer to select the desired product (Standard, Premium, license length…)
  2. Instructions are given on how the customer can pay for the order, and they are asked to make the payment (Specify payment methods: UPI, Credit Card, account number…)
  3. Ask the customer to reply once the payment has been made, so that the reseller can deliver the license to the customer. The customer's reply should preferably include a receipt or other confirmation that the payment has been made.


After the Purchase:
- Send the customer an official receipt.
- Receipt should include licence information
- Provide information on where to seek assistance if needed.
- Direct customers to online support resources or reseller customer service.

 

4. Customer Register and Accounting

The reseller is responsible for maintaining a customer register of all sales. Store customer details securely, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR in Europe). This helps in tracking sales and managing customer relationships.

Keep records of:

- Customer's name and contact information
- Purchased product and license type
- Date of purchase
- Payment method and amount
- License code provided to the customer

 

Financial accounting must be precise, including income, expenses, and taxes in compliance with local laws.

 

5. Products and Prices

Cloud Kayak Labs Oy (TypingMaster.com) reserves the right to change product prices. Resellers can check prices on the order page.

Resellers may set their own sale prices. Offering discounts reduces profit margins, so we recommend discounts only for bulk orders.

For time-limited licenses:
- The license period starts on the purchase date.
- Customers must purchase a new license for continued access after expiration.

 

6. Reseller Portal and Links

A dedicated website has been built for resellers, from which the product is easy to select. On the same page, the customer's name and email address can be entered into the fields, and they will then automatically transfer to the order form as well.

Each reseller can have a unique business-specific link with built-in reseller discounts and company-specific details. Please, send an inquiry and ask us to create a link.

7. Order (Checkout) Page Information

It is important to fill in the information exactly correctly. Especially important is the correct entry of the email address.

If the link from the reseller portal has included reseller-specific information, then the order page no longer requires separate filling of, for example, a coupon code. It is automatically filled in and changes the price to the correct one.

Multiple licenses can be purchased at the same time. However, they all have the same user and email address, so to different customers cannot purchase products at the same time. The number of licenses to be purchased is entered in the field reserved for it above the price.

Once all the necessary information has been entered into the fields, the order is paid for with the reseller's credit card.

After successful payment, the reseller is directed to a page where they see the License ID and License KEY. We recommend these details be included in the receipt sent to the customer or other electronic system.

 

8. Coupon Codes

Each reseller has a unique discount code that must be entered at checkout to adjust the product price accordingly.

- Coupon codes may apply to all products or specific ones.- If a code does not work, contact TypingMaster customer support.
- Never share coupon codes with customers. Resellers must place orders on behalf of the customer to ensure correct pricing and licensing.
 - If a reseller portal link is used, the discount is embedded in the link, eliminating the need to enter a code manually.

When the customer's name and email address have been correctly entered on the reseller page, the license key goes directly to the customer. If the reseller has been provided with their own personal link to the reseller portal, the discount code is included in the link, and in this case, the code does not need to be re-entered on the purchase page.

The product price on the purchase page indicates whether the code has been automatically entered. If you want to ensure that the code has been used, you can optionally re-enter the code. The price will not change if the code was already used.

 

9. Order-Delivery-Confirmation Protocol

It is advisable to create your own and clear operating instructions, based on which anyone in your own organization can take orders and ensure a good experience for the customer.

In marketing and advertising, it is advisable to be consistent. Your own company's corporate identity can be combined with the TypingMaster product image in advertisements. It is good that the overall look and image are clear and the same everywhere. Advertisements intended for different customer groups or marketing channels should be similar, so that the customer understands that it is the same product (TypingMaster).

Advertisements should be clear and simple. The customer's attention is drawn, and they are directed to explore the product through the www.typingmaster.com website.

The sales path is also good to consider on a reseller-specific basis. Do you want to take orders by phone (the probability of errors increases), by email, or via an order form on your own website?

After ordering and delivering the product, it is good to ensure that the customer has received the license key. This is optional, as it adds more work, but at the same time improves the customer's image of the product. At the same time, you can explain and confirm how the customer activates the product with the license key. IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

  • Give the customer enough information to make a purchase
  • Clearly explain how the customer orders the product from the reseller
  • Make sure the customer has paid for the product and you have received the money before ordering the license code through the reseller portal
  • Send the customer a receipt and the license code
