How to Release Your TypingMaster License

If you want to install TypingMaster on another computer, you must first release the license from the old device by uninstalling the software. This instruction works only with the official license, not with the charity license. 

1. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet

The license can only be released if your computer is connected to the Internet during the uninstall process. If the internet connection fails, the license cannot be released.

2. Uninstall TypingMaster from your computer

You can uninstall the program in two ways:

Option A – Using Windows Settings

1. Open Windows Settings

2. Select Apps

3. Open Installed Apps / Apps & Features

4. Find TypingMaster 11/12

5. Click Uninstall

Option B – From the program folder

1. Open the TypingMaster installation folder

2. Run the command:

typingmaster.exe /uninstall

3. Confirm that the license was released

After the uninstall process finishes, your web browser should automatically open the TypingMaster website.

Opening this web page confirms that:

• the uninstall process worked correctly

• the license has been released successfully.

4. If the web page does not open

If the TypingMaster web page does not appear after uninstalling, the license may not have been released.

Try the following:

1. Make sure your internet connection is active.

2. Install TypingMaster again.

3. Uninstall it once more while connected to the internet.

When the uninstall process redirects you to the TypingMaster website, the license has been successfully released and you can install the software on another device.
