How to Place a Tax-Exempt Order in the USA via PayPro Global

If you are a tax-exempt organization in the USA (for example, a school, nonprofit, or other exempt entity), you may qualify to purchase TypingMaster or TypingMagic products without paying sales tax. Follow these steps to complete your order correctly.

1. Verify Your Tax-Exempt Status

  • Provide a valid Sales Tax Exemption Certificate to PayPro Global.

  • This certificate must include your organization’s legal name, address, and a valid tax-exempt ID (if available).

  • Send your certificate to accounting@payproglobal.com for verification.

Once verified, you will receive an Assigned Tax Exempt ID from PayPro Global. This ID is necessary for processing tax-exempt orders.

2. Place Your Order

  1. Use the exact organization name, address, and email as listed on your tax-exempt certificate.

  2. Include the Assigned Tax Exempt ID in the order form.

  3. Make sure to indicate that your purchase is for business or educational purposes.

  4. Submit the order using the official TypingMaster or TypingMagic purchase link.

⚠️ Important: Any mismatch in the information (address, email, or name) will result in sales tax being applied to your order.

After submitting the order, you will receive a unique PayPro order ID and a PayPro invoice with payment instructions.

3. Tax Forms (W-9 vs. W-8BEN-E)

The applicable tax form depends on which PayPro Global contracting entity processes the order (not on the customer’s location).

  • PayPro US Inc. (US entity)
We provide Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification).

W-9 is used to report the vendor’s US EIN to the IRS.

  • PayPro Global, Inc. (Canadian entity)
We provide Form W-8BEN-E (Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner).
W-8BEN/E is used by non-US entities to certify they are not subject to US withholding taxes.

The correct form will be issued based on the PayPro Global entity handling your transaction.

4. Assigning the License to the End User

If the license needs to be issued to someone other than the purchaser, the “License to Another Person” option must be selected during checkout before completing the order.

  • The end-user details must be entered directly in the checkout form.

  • License assignment must be configured prior to finalizing the transaction.

  • After the order has been successfully submitted, the licensee cannot be changed through the checkout interface.

5. Key Reminders

  • Only the verified Tax Exempt ID and certificate for your organization are valid for tax-exempt orders.

  • Ensure all details match exactly with the certificate to avoid automatic tax charges.

  • PayPro Global handles payment and tax processing, so following the instructions carefully ensures a smooth, tax-exempt purchase.
